The football coach and players of Canton High School in Oklahoma credit implementing rugby as the reason they went from a losing season to winning their state championship. NFL players also tell why they believe rugby and football are complementary, stating that football players that transition to playing rugby in the spring are way ahead of their competition who are sitting in weight rooms, instead.
